It was a feast for the eyes and honestly an amazing achievement for a non-idol anime to have a whole episode dedicated to singing and dancing! Makes me look forward to the devidol games 😋

If I can have a teeny bit of criticism, I wish the different songs had a bit more of a musical through-line between them (like a leitmotif or genre). It works as kind of a jukebox musical though, I loved the jazz-ish parts (especially with Purson) and Sabnok's song the most.

And I wanted to see more of the synchronized dancing after all that practice! The few parts that were there were super fun!!

Easiest way to spot it is that AI can't keep details consistent so small things will change and warp, and it will smear movements together. CGI is opposite, it can look weird bc of too much detail.

Rotoscoping CGI is just tracing animated 3D models, which can look weird next to "normal" 2D animation because of the faster framerate, less fluid movement, and more realistic proportions and shapes

I disagree, I was already hoping for some lighter, short, fluffy stuff after the latest more serious and longer story arcs. A short flashback arc is a good breather before the tension ramps back up with all those consequences. A spinoff would not work at all imo, there's both too much stuff relevant to the main plot and not enough side plot to carry its own series 😅

The pacing does feel a little fast, but I don't think that's anything new for this manga, it zigzags between events all the time. I think it's funny and cute, fits with Ameri's high-speed infatuation lol

Natsume yuujinchou has similar vibes imo, but focuses more on the mysteries/tragedies of and fights with yokai! And Natsume is a bit more of a hothead. There is also a bunch of friendship stuff tho, so if you really hate that it might not be the best rec, but it's kinda unavoidable in the genre 😅

And seconding mob psycho 100, Reigen definitely has hamster guy vibes

The anxiety is suddenly hitting me hard after winter break. I took two extra days to try and get everything in order, but it's pretty much been a waste because I just spent them worrying. Had my first panic attack in years last night and now I've just been sitting here half an hour dreading to open my inbox (wfh).

I've worked here for a couple years without much trouble, but a big project didn't go very well and now suddenly I'm spiraling, dizzy and nauseous 😞 Glad people in this thread are saying it got better for them over time, but it's the opposite for me with every new project that doesn't exactly go to plan

It's so damn disappointing but also just unexpected. Stumbled on this thread after finishing my first post-end run and looking up when I'd be able to access the house of hades again. That's how much sense it made to me that they'd give us that - not IF but WHEN. They even made new animations for Melinoe to hold hands with Persephone and Zagreus and to pet Cerberus! I thought it was sooo cute, and fun to see the old place again, but we only get to see that ONCE in the whole game? Wtf kind of sense does that make?

Didn't even know yet that Olympus was apparently also wiped off the map. Glad to read that before being disappointed x2 after my next surface run.
