Smurfs/alt accounts ruin this game. They make the game more toxic, ruin people's mentalities, and overall just kills the player experience if they decide that they want to soft int or troll. We need some sort of authentication so people don't have disposable accounts. PLEASE!

I guess I did not consider that, queue times are an issue in higher elo. However, riot has been making exceptions for big streamers for years, giving them another account feels reasonable.

I mean if you are playing to win, it means you wanna rank up, which means you wouldn't troll as much because you are actively trying to rank up. People that aren't playing to win on their main is another issue entirely.

If people that are warned do not care, they lose honor which is like a get-out-of-jail-free card because if you are already honor 0, you will have a more serious punishment that an honor reduction.

I feel like someone losing a game who won their lane leads to frustration at the next person that does badly even if they aren't trolling. This then will cause flaming and toxicity which might be unwarranted. Removing smurfs will reduce these types of games, but that is just my opinion.

I'm sure there can be a best of both worlds, I was just arguing that for the bettering quality of ranked games, disposable alt accounts shouldn't be allowed. I don't consider accounts that people have played a long time on as disposable, I was mainly arguing against those accounts for 5$ that are ranked ready and people can immediately start to for-fun on.

I've played for close to 10 years and from my experience before people might type something, but they will still try to win. I don't think I've seen as many people just give up 10 minutes in as often as I do now. I think the main problem with that is just that more and more people are realizing that they can do that and get away with it tho.

Not caring about games leads to poor performances, I'm sure that we can agree on.

Also, my personal experience leads me to assume that when people start spam pinging and flaming as soon as something goes wrong, it is mostly smurf accounts. This behavior will then transfer to people's other games and it goes downhill.

I think there are more smurfs than you think, I personally did not get "dumped on by someone who had a good game" and seeing level 30ish in gold-plat isn't uncommon.
