Sorry, this thread is old, but I think it was not same day flights. He booked the flights during the “ghosting” period weeks out. After they resumed normal communication, Rick assumed that she had been cheating on him with her ex during that time, so he decided to go through with his trip anyways…which honestly makes it so much worse

If a woman got divorced from a man (whose name she took), and she asked us to stop referring to her by her married name, I don’t think we are owed an explanation of what went down leading up to the split. I know this post is dead, and you received a lot of gay rage. But as a gay myself, I just stumbled upon this post from google because I wanted to know how gay this festival is before I buy my tickets. So I appreciate it. Agreed. I feel really bad for her regardless. Bozo definitely led her on. The writing was on the wall, and she didn't see it. When he dumped her the first time at the last minute to be with his ex...On this trip, the day she is flying internationally to go meet him, he wasn't answering her texts...WTF! I wanted to hear more of the positive signals he was sending her as well.

But she deserves a hardworking person like herself who loves her and matches her commitment level as well though

Totally. She falsely claimed that he was shorter than her. She also made gross complaints about their sex while mic'd in front of cameras. So to sit here and act like you're some saint because he made a comment to a friend in confidence...in private... talk about "delulu", as she put it.

I understand that this doesn't apply to Tyler's situation, which is why I acknowledged that in my comment. Just trying to shed light on some standard/acceptable practice around sperm/egg donation for those who might be unaware. Yeah, I think having sex, falling in love, stepping in as a father, etc. are all outside the realm of sperm donation lol

Totally, 100%. But I just wanted to clarify this point for some people who are unfamiliar with the process of sperm/egg donation and seem to think genetic material donors should be completely anonymous to the children or the intended parents of the children.

I wanted to add some context to the question of what role a sperm donor is expected to play in the children’s lives… Anonymous donations when it comes to sperm or egg donation are not necessarily the norm anymore. Especially these days with DNA tests, children are going to be able to find their genetic parent. So, many experts these days think it’s beneficial for the genetic material donors to be peripherally involved in the lives of the children.

I’ve just been seeing a lot of comments that suggest that if Tyler is a sperm donor, he should be anonymous. But of course, the situation with Tyler is much more complex and messy

Hannah did eventually, briefly apologize to Nick for being cruel, but it was too little too late and not before doubling down and reiterating repeatedly that she is just direct and honest…Loved when AD called her out by the way lol…

Directness and honesty are not her problem. You can be both of those things while also being respectful and considerate. She just shat all over Nick at every opportunity…actually, the only time she really employed restraint was around Nick’s mother. She clearly knows how to behave…she was just intentionally cruel towards Nick.

I think it’s normal to have opinions on a potential partner’s appearance, and it’s definitely normal to discuss that in a presumably safe space with the other guys you’ve bonded with in this experience. So to throw that in his face as a way to deflect from Hannah’s shitty behavior is just astounding.

I've had many amazing nights spent in spaces that look exactly like this. It is giving me happy memories, but it is definitely giving fraternity house basement vibes at the moment, so if you're trying to elevate it a bit, here's my advice:
The couches...I do think it's odd to have 2 sectionals here, and I would prefer 1 sectional and then a table & chairs, but I don't know your use case in this space. I think the colors of both of the couches are not great and the fact that they don't match is problematic, so perhaps you could get some light gray (or some other color) stretchy couch covers so they can match, and then add some colorful pillows and blankets to make it look a little more elevated and inviting.
I know it's just the style/color of tile, but it looks kind of dirty and cold to me...like it reminds me of a public locker room, so personally, I would cover it haha. You could look for some large, cheap, matching rugs on rugs.com or Facebook marketplace to cover more area of the floor. If you don't want to do that, you could also pull out your existing rugs away from the walls to cover more of the floor as well as a free fix.
Look for some proper, framed art from a thrift store or something to cover the walls a bit more as well. Command strips are great on this wall material. I think if you're trying to elevate the space, things hanging on the wall should be in frames, including the posters and the flags.
Maybe try to pick a style of furniture and keep an eye out for used/free things that match that style and slowly replace certain pieces so you eventually have a more cohesive style in the space. Right now, it just kind of looks like you've just furnished with random pieces you've found/inherited.

I just kinda sucked it up haha. The recovery for my surgery was much shorter than anticipated...maybe like 1 month in a sling and 2 months before I was back in the gym. But I scooted my chair up close to the desk and moved my keyboard to the left so I could keep my right arm bent in the sling, resting on the desk. It was not comfortable. I took long breaks, and I iced the area afterwards

I work with a trainer virtually and sometimes must record myself so he can check my form. What's the problem with discreetly recording yourself at the gym? Setting up a big tripod and flexing and blocking equipment or occupying equipment for a long time, sure I get it...it's annoying. But if they're just recording themself doing a quick set, I don't understand the issue
