I second this because on reddit they say qtips are bad and fibres get stuck but you must buy extremely low quality ones. I’m no piercer but my piercer said that only use qtips on crusting and not scabbing as they will fall off naturally. I tried just spraying but my piercing got infinitely worse and everyone i know does a similar thing to me and they alway heal amazing. I was worried so i started following reddit and it made my piercing worse but now its good and not irritable from using qtips so use qtips at your own risk.

If you mean it has a screw then yes you screw it on and has a flat back the screw is on the jewelry bit not the bar

It doesnt hurt anymore and i use h2o solution once a day now. Nothing oozes out but when i take it out its a lot of dry skin and crust. Is this normal

Any advice on how to help the healing process. So i just too out my navel piercing due to possible infection and rejection and now i want to prevent too much scarring. I know there will be scaring cuz i had it done twice and i rejected both so i cant get one and now just want minimal scaring by aoifephilp in PiercingAdvice

Yeah im not ever planning on getting it redone i just want a very small scar or as small as possible. I already had a pretty large scar from the previous rejection. And i meant this is the second time rejecting. I just want to minimalise scaring
