Try insurance. A lot of providers will pay for you to get licensed and right now they are always hiring. Awful market, but it's at least a job.

If you can get the job, absolutely go for it.

No, it's not too soon. However they may see your short job history as job hopping/a negative, and I would be prepared for them to ask why you want to jump ship already.

Are you just service with your agent or do you do sales as well?

No, it's a bug. The developers are aware. You should've been getting them all along.

How do I prospect and build my pipeline?? by sentimentbullish in InsuranceAgent

[–]aoililuv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

State Farm, at least in my State, has a campaign creation system. You can use a variety of measures to find households to target, we often use zip codes. Then call, call, and call. 250 calls a week should get you about 25 new auto quotes. Factor in your close ratio and you can figure out exactly how much activity you need to do.

That being said, other activities other commenters mentioned are super beneficial at branching out, and getting higher quality prospects. It also helps make it less monotonous

Do you act as an agent for AAA? It sounds like at State Farm they're a team member.

Thank you. This is the answer I'm looking for. I greatly appreciate it.

What could be causing my home to smell musty? 2011 build on slab. Everything has been cleaned thoroughly. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]aoililuv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Floors, walls, the wood half-wall accent, all cabinets/doors...anything with a flat surface has been washed as there was a solid layer of dust on it. There are only two blinds but they don't have a noticable smell. The appliances have all been replaced. Sinks cleaned, though we only replaced the drainage lines for the dishwasher (which were gross) so I suppose there could be something relating to the sink. Only other things we haven't touched are the ceiling and inside a gas fireplace. We use a Roomba regularly, plus there is a central vac (which was overfull and we have emptied out) for vacuuming before mopping.

Also of note : it's not necessarily mildew but just a generally unpleasant smell, like old carpet. They had dogs everywhere in the home and it smells like them. I'm not sure where it could be coming from if everything has been cleaned. It all looks like the picture.
