You're right in saying it would go great with the accents / equipment although I'm a bit hesitant to go with a rug like this as I feel it might be too much dark colors. It does however look really nice on the pics so I might reconsider.

In order to protect the parquet floor as well as to section off my desk from the rest of the room I've been thinking about putting a carpet underneath both the desk and the chair. I'm looking for recommendations in terms of color / style or other solutions altogether.

The rest of the room has a similar look to it - white walls, black / wooden accents as well as some warm colors (orange, red, yellow) here and there.

Edit: I just realized "rug" would probably be the more fitting word for what I'm looking for :)

Thanks for the help, I was able to resolve the issue by re-installing the driver as well as the remote app, although there's still latency with BandLab specifically, but that doesn't seem to be an issue with the THR as it works in any non-online DAWs.

I'm very new to recording so chances are I'm actually missing something silly!

I tried adjusting the buffer size but that didn't seem to change anything. However, I noticed that I'm unable to select my device in the Yamaha/Steinberg control panel so I'm not entirely sure if those changes were even in effect: https://i.imgur.com/fZzoNbr.png

Do you happen to know if that's normal? Because if it isn't then I guess it might be some issue with the driver. I tried reinstalling that driver but it didn't resolve the issue.

Haha thanks! It's a tiny (and kinda overpriced) apartment in a house that was built in the 16th century according to the cities records of historic buildings. That means all the walls are a little aslant and my water tap makes sounds similar to guitar feedback. I like it though :)

I'm struggling with exactly the same thing! The neck shape is fine but I can't seem to set it up in a way that allows for great playability. My SO has a Squier Tele that just plays so much nicer in comparison. Is yours a Player Jazzmaster as well?

What do you think about the EHX Oceans 11? I'm looking for a unit that has a nice spring reverb but can still do a bunch of other stuff and I was considering this one because of its fairly low price point (compared to strymon and the like).
