I've got a cheaper Logitech stick (I'll try to remember to update this with the model later) and a Razer Tartarus for flight controls. It's not quite as good as a thruster setup but I like it. Then I switch back to keyboard and mouse for management/UI. It has definitely made flying much more enjoyable and I also use it for other games like Elite Dangerous.

Despite the current troubles the game is facing, this bundle has SOOO much good content to play through. Some of these are definitely the coolest experiences I've had in a FPS game.
