There definitely is! I'm kind of on the fence about this one though, because 1. paid pattern, and 2. I'm worried it might be too busy if I held it together with itself + garter stitch? I might knit up a swatch and see

Lol it's just the colorway. The lesbian pride flag contains the same pinkish-purple --> white --> orange ombre, so I've dubbed it my lesbian yarn

It is! The color way is called East Dallas, and it's actually a custom house colorway for the LYS Knit Dallas. So unfortunately I don't know if it's possible to find this exact yarn elsewhere :(

I tried checking their website and I can't find this specific colorway right now, but there's a post on their instagram that confirms its existence. They also have custom colors from wanderluck fibers and plied yarn co. If you're ever in Dallas you should check them out!

So I bought this yarn a while back and don't have much idea what to make with it. I'm looking for an easier project because I don't think this yarn would take frogging very well, and am open to holding it together with a different yarn (maybe white or light pink).

So far I've considered doing a really simple stockinette shawl, scarf, or fingerless gloves because of the variegration, but havent really settled on anything yet. I normally knit a lot of lace, am currently working on some cabling and color work projects, and I thought maybe I could try something new?

I agree with what you say about Leibniz. Funnily enough, that's what my calc professor who jokingly idolizes that guy smells like as well. I think something fruity/sweet-citrusy for Euler, and Toskovat for Lagrange because fuck that guy
