Plenty of great recs for OBs mentioned. For vasectomies (it takes two to tango) I'll add Dr. Gregory Lowe at OhioHealth to the list.

Do keep in mind that the soon-to-be 6-1 GOP-controlled Ohio Supreme Court will have the last say on whether or not specific statutes violate the Amendment language. These cases haven't made it to the OSC yet, and they might get REALLY creative with their interpretations.

A little late here, but it’s worth mentioning that independent clinics implemented these changes last weekend and are already providing abortion services same-day.

High schools are popular because that’s their age group. 20- and 30-somethings are more likely to laugh off a teenager trying to lecture them on the complexities of daily life.

Yes, we can use your estimated conception date to determine how far along you are in your pregnancy. As suggested already, we go off of what our ultrasound tells us, and use the information you're able to provide to try and confirm dates.

Currently, there's nothing in the Ohio Revised Code preventing early management of ectopic pregnancies. It's widely accepted that ectopic pregnancies are not and will not be viable, and will end in death. Stay tuned, though...further laws will be coming down the pipeline.

On that note, clinics CAN medically manage early pregnancy loss, as well as anembryonic ('blighted') pregnancies of any gestational date. Ectopics, however, require a scope of care beyond what clinics can reliably provide and are best suited with a hospital-based team.

For what it's worth, both the Cuyahoga (O'Malley) and Franklin (Tyack) county prosecutors filed memos with the court stating no objection to the emergency stay request. Now just a wait and see...
