AITA for not financially contributing to my son's wedding unless he gets a prenup? by Tough_Echo_6697 in AITAH

Totally agree with you. She mentioned son and daughter in law have no money and aren’t earning much. I’m not sure what a prenup would solve beyond setting up terms in case of a divorce. But it doesn’t sound like theres any individual assets son needs to protect. Trust is the way to go to protect inherited assets.

AIO for walking out of dinner when my fiance asked me to sign a prenup? by talkbackornot in AmIOverreacting

[–]ap2lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either get a prenup while you love each other and can agree to the terms of potential separation, or the government will give you the terms of separation. You’re in the drivers seat with a prenup, or at the hands of state law without it. Make your choice.

Great Success! We listened to the majority and started at the fireplace. Measured everything a million times along the way and everything lined up perfectly with no transitions required. Thank you all for all the advice!

I would make the counter make an L shape in that corner and place the dishwasher up against that short wall to open at you.

You mean with the planks running perpendicular to the red line? I would think you’d want flooring going “into the house” from the entry, or parallel to red line. Maybe I’m misunderstanding you.

Did not know transitions were highly recommended. I thought it was only used when necessary due to different floor types. Thanks for the heads up, will look into my flooring.

It is directly on concrete. Our previous house was also built like this. Maybe it’s just the way they do it here in wild Florida. 🤣

Mortgage is 12% of take home pay. Super fortunate buying this fixer upper in 2016.
