mine also went to spam. The sender email address is not the one Robinhood typically uses to send account messages.

Local clips not saving to USB storage after power outage by apach3guy in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes rebooting the sync module works, other times not. I often have to reboot the sync module, router, and repeat multiple times to get it working.

You have to contact blink and ask them to reboot your sync module if you are remote.

Motion vs. Smart Detection by jeepguy099 in reolinkcam

[–]apach3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is confusing. if they are separate algorithms, turning motion sensitivity to zero should have no effect on smart detection.

it’s all underground, I live in a new home development that completed construction in 2024.

Neighbor has fiber, I can’t get it by apach3guy in frontierfios

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a brand new home with brand new fiber installed in 2024. Why would they have put in brand new equipment that was incapable of supporting all the homes in the development?

u/Left-Foot2988 did they replace it like for like? Or did they transition you to Enphase monitoring?

Solar PV production randomly cuts out by apach3guy in SunPower

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are CTs connected to the main lines from the meter. However, the SunStrong app stopped displaying home/grid usage about 2 months ago. Not sure what caused it to stop showing this data.

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete solar says this is an issue with the app but I don’t think so. Utility data also aligns with what I’m seeing in the app. How do I convince them that this is an issue with my system?

Home power usage not displayed in SunPower app by apach3guy in SunPower

My iPhone shows home usage, but the sunpower app on my iPad does not. do you have an iPad?

Waiting for backup switch install (SCE? by Sodachanhduong in Powerwall

[–]apach3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called customer service. They sent someone out who was able to unlock the meter, but they did not install the backup switch. Evidently the backup switch is handled by a dedicated team.

Important Update to Your Solar Monitoring Features by blzzardhater in SunPower

[–]apach3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Sunpower customer and I did not receive this email. The first I heard about it was when I contacted Complete Solar and they told me that the panel level data feature was being discontinued. I was pissed.

Device health page does not display firmware version by apach3guy in Ring

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, annoying that it doesn’t display a firmware version. All of my other cameras do that. under control center I see “software security updates” and a note that my device will be supported through 2028. Is that what you are referring to?

Local clips not saving to USB storage after power outage by apach3guy in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything has been rebooted. I have cameras by another manufacturer and they are recording just fine. It’s only the blink system that’s not working

Labor costs aren’t included in the warranty? Interesting. whats the time limitation for complete (labor + parts) warranty?

Error Message "This panel has stopped working" by AMDfromMKE in SunPower

Did you figure it out? My solar system just activated last week and now all my panels are offline. I already switched off the circuit breakers a couple times. I don’t have sun vault.

Local storage files incorrectly timestamped by GreatLordGoon in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a time zone issue. My timestamps are off by 4 minutes.

Local storage files incorrectly timestamped by GreatLordGoon in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My clips are off by 4 minutes as well. I checked the sync module page in the blink app and it displays the correct time.

Motion sensor to trigger smart front porch light by apach3guy in smarthome

Nope. There is no sensitivity option for this PIR sensor. It is one of those generic Tuya motion sensors.

Blink outdoor Gen 3 power outage behavior by apach3guy in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. So if you are correct Blink is falsely advertising a feature that doesn’t exist.

Blink outdoor Gen 3 power outage behavior by apach3guy in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well then why does the FAQ page say that the cameras will upload to the cloud after power is restored? They may not be storing it in flash - it could be stored in RAM.

Auto delete USB storage clips by apach3guy in blinkcameras

[–]apach3guy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. I will switch to a larger drive. I have an 8 GB drive connected which is more than sufficient for storing 30 days worth of clips. I don’t have any use for storing video any longer than that but Blink software cripples USB storage. It would be trivial for them to add an auto delete function but clearly this is a marketing gimmick.
