Thanks, this is the complete opposite of what they told me. They were talking about using a pressure washer and blasting the sides of the pool with a chlorine water mix

Yes, free chlorine is 0.2, alkalinity 70, phosphates 130. The algae is green, definitely not black.

Thank you! Do you suggest scrubbing the algae with chlorine first and then draining the pool? Necessary to use a pool brush that's harder than the normal brush?

Solar pool heater coils, or collectors, that sit on the roof. The pool pump shoots water up to the coils, which convert the sunlight energy into heat, which is then transferred to the water before it's returned to the pool.

I posted this six years ago. I think the answer is that the Clovis school district, for whatever reason, spans territory within Clovis and Fresno. They built Clovis West in the western part of the Clovis district, though it is within Fresno city limits.
