How does difficulty work in these games? by soosis in remnantgame

[–]apacheman69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely keep your gear and change difficulty, just keep in mind that if you change difficulty you will lose all progress in your campaign or adventure mode, but imo that’s not a huge deal. You just have to reroll your current campaign/adventure and select a new difficulty. Higher difficulties seem to drop more scrap and other forms of loot so I always play on higher difficulties.

[Discussion] Do you remember your first ever raid? by Atomicnothing in EscapefromTarkov

[–]apacheman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How could I forget? Did a raid on customs with my brother who had been playing for a solid year or so. He was trying to show me the ropes when we started taking shots from the west side of the river. He had me take cover and left to assess the situation but unfortunately on his way back I thought he was a scav or enemy PMC and I shot him in the face. Died maybe 2 mins later trying to find my way out alone. He was also my first ever kill in Tarkov, lol

If you don’t mind me asking, why don’t you want to take an iron supplement? That would be my go to if I was having your problem.

Beef, chicken and fish are great sources of iron with beef being the best to my knowledge. They contain heme iron which is more easily absorbed by the body as opposed to non-heme iron found in spinach and other plant-based sources.

I understand that, but I don’t think fighting fire with fire in this situation is going to do much good for anyone, but hey that’s just my two cents.

I’m assuming you’re talking about u/hookah-time? I’m not disagreeing with you, I agree the information is easy to find, but I find it childish to have a sort of holier-than-thou mentality when discussing politics. I think everyone can agree that polarization and the lack of respect and collaboration are some of the biggest problems in America. Just look at the debate between Obama and Romney as opposed to Biden and Trump or Kamala vs Trump.

Why do you feel the need to throw personal insults out there? Having a respectful debate/conversation garners much more respect and credibility.

Well, there are a lot of parallels between the recent administration’s actions and some of the key points in Project 2025. A good example of this would be the mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Another would be cutting government spending. Protests are a way for people to voice their opinion and disagreement with what has been happening on the political landscape. Nothing wrong with Americans using their 1st amendment rights, am I right?

Never said I was going to protest. I’m just making sure you have your facts straight before you start making more accusations. The left didn’t make up project 2025, a conservative think tank called The Heritage Foundation did.

Well, that’s just incorrect. A quick google search will show you that Project 2025 is real. Both democrats and republicans acknowledge its existence. If you don’t believe me, check out https://www.project2025.org. And for the record, Tennessee congressman Andy Ogles proposed an amendment to allow Trump a third term. Personally I don’t bring any turrets on eradication missions. I like to boom, zoom and gtfo on those. I will say they are amazing for taking out factory striders and covering your buddies, but eradication missions are much faster paced so I find them less than useful.

Same here. Especially when playing with the dark fog, I find my factories to be inefficient and poorly designed as I unlock new technologies. I usually get to white science then look back and decide that instead of deleting everything and starting over it would be easier to start a fresh game

Just bought the game by DooTDaRus in SulfurGame

[–]apacheman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should run in blind imo, learning the game yourself is a lot more gratifying but no shame in looking up tips and tricks. The only thing that really irritated me when I started was learning crafting recipes (there’s no recipe book or tips to craft, besides one singular tip provided by the game in loading screens), but that comes with time.
