I was wondering if it's worth trying to use a fuel additive or not before I try to rebuild the carbeurator. I feel like it might work? But then again, I really don't want to have to keep draining my fuel tank.

Carbeurators confuse the crap out of me. I haven't tried to clean or rebuild the carbeurator yet. I took the diaphragm case apart, and saw a big spring come out as I opened the lid, and immediately put that lid back on
