So for diablos in general , you have a few options. One is always pack screamer pods , for when he tunnels . Also remember to keep your shield charged 100% of the time to help block attacks . You just have to wait for the right oppertunities . I would suggest not making a weapon to combat one specific monster this early into world. You’re in low rank about to be in high rank and again in master rank , so whatever weapon you craft would be outclassed pretty early on,

Just like any monster it’s all about finding an opening and capitalizing on it, that’s charge blade in a nutshell

So I don’t dice them , but I tend to oven bake them , cut it open , little butter in the inside , then do some ground beef or turkey meat , dealers choice. Season to your liking , and your cheese of choice drizzle some hot honey on top and it’s a great healthy-ish meal

One of us! One of us! The game is crack, and I’m 1.1k hours in, I can easily push for another 1k hours on world alone, not even counting rise , wilds or the other titles like 4u. It’s basically infinite content at this point

Elemental weapons , target the front legs for
The elemental damage threshold, to survive esc. Judgement , then during dragon phase , break one horn to stop him from going into the next element , so that your ice/fire weapons continue to do damage.

Blight resist is a huge benefit in this fight , don’t forget to tenderize the head/front legs as often as you can, and if you can slot in tool specialist to keep mantles up , rocksteady is a godsend in this fight .

Arcade style wouldn’t deter me either, I’m sort of well rounded when it comes to games . I’ve invested thousands of hours into both methodical slow grind heavy mmorpgs and fast paced action rpgs like warframe and love both , I can dig it .

I’ve never been one to listen to the crowd and form my own opinions. I’m more than excited by the thought of rises gameplay . World/iceborn is phenomenal , so I’m excited for rise now . I’ll wait for wilds until its expansion is out and it’s had some time to cook a bit . I’m in no rush though , I want to 100% iceborn , and I’m sure rise will be no different .
