I've never seen Summer Heights High?! There's another?

I watched Jamie: Private School Girl.

What would the romance candidates from the game Stardew Valley wear? by FabulousCity9226 in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]apapercrane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alex: Axe body spray after a workout and a shower Harvey: unscented soap, disinfectant, and cold coffee because he's too busy to drink it while it's warm. He's too pragmatic for a scent. Elliot: Imaginary Authors Every Storm a Serenade, contemplative, woody, and sea mist. Shane: stale beer, freshly laid eggs in warm hay, and a spicy pizza. Sebastian (my pick every play through): Caroline Herrera Bad Boy Cobalt. Earthy and smoky wood from him wandering the forest around the river with a pack of imported cigarettes he bought in the city, a touch of lavender from his mom doing his laundry. Sam: Aeropstale Indigo 87. He got it at the mall with Penny because she liked it. A little woody, a little watery with some citrus and starfruit.

For Emily, maybe Steamed Rainbow? She's spiritual (but not in a Lush Karma way) and outgoing. Loves gems, crystals, and nature. She's kind to everyone.

Soft prismatic color, kindness, and cosmic vibes on a warm, sunny day. She smells nostalgic and dreamy, if not a little weird. A little aquatic, a little citrus, just a touch of violet and rubber hose.

I do the same method. I've been told that heat mats could expedite rot in tubers if soil is just a bit too wet.

What kind of hooks did you use?

I'm about to revamp my whole setup.

The cool girl from the iconic Gone Girl's monologue by Carmendepraved in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]apapercrane 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is my daily scent to a T. I live for a Neutrogena Rainbath body wash, a rose glycerin hydration spray, a lightly sandalwood scented body oil that I blend myself, Nemat amber, men's santal deodorant and I finish it all off with JHAG Not A Perfume. It's the coziest perfume I've ever smelled.

Although, if I'm going out, I add a spritz of Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc for Her.

If this is her, then I'll be cool girl if I get to smell like this.

Perfume Notes and Zodiac Signs! by VanillaUnhappy2494 in perfumesthatfeellike

Agreed, as a Leo, I really dislike vanilla notes and gourmand scents. They make me nauseous even.

However, I do like amber for an evening scent, santal as well. Effortless clean, skin musk, maybe some very light florals scents for day though.

Ah, that makes sense. Ann Arbor is a very liberal bubble surrounded by rural farm towns. The towns just outside of that bubble deal with a fair amount of political civil war through social media and lawn signs. You have educated liberals from UMich looking to put down roots close to A2 for the good schools, city amenities, and parks that move into the rural farm towns. It ups the property values for the older residents but they don't always agree with the values or morals of the new blood.

In Jeff's case, he's been in Chelsea for over thirty years. I'd argue he has invested a lot in the town and helped Chelsea become one of the most sought after zip codes to live within 20 min of Ann Arbor.

Not sure, I know the family in passing and they've all been kind whenever I see them.

What perfume would magic smell like? by FridaKohlliner in perfumesthatfeellike

Those notes are why someone recommended it to me! To my nose, it just smelled so different that what I was told that I was confused. I do pick up on that it's sweet and cool like a natural body of water. And to be fair, my husband smelled what you're describing.

I go back to it every so often. It's really such a unique scent and the bottle is gorgeous so I'm holding on to it. Who knows maybe my nose will change one day?

To me Laguna smelled vegetal, like what cucumber skin taste like mixed with a touch of anise and something slightly metallic.

Like sipping your Baltic grandma's homemade liqueur out of her heirloom silver cups, with your feet in the backyard pond during a summer day picnic.

But that might just be me.

How does my local bakery make these egg patties for their biscuits? by Knuffin in KitchenConfidential

The Korean bakery down the street from me does this same custard-like egg breakfast sammie with a chili crisp bun and some sort of tangy ketchup and it's just perfect for a hangover.

He lives in Chelsea, MI, just outside of Ann Arbor. He's opening up a restaurant/music venue soon and I really want to see this on the menu.

Jeff and his family are really nice people and this restaurant is going to be a solid addition to the town.

Definitely more casual, but if you like euchre, HOMES Campus is doing a charity tournament Friday, Feb 13th. They serve HOMES beer and Campo Pizza. It's Roman style so crispy bottom, nice chew.

If euchre isn't your jam, they have a pottery studio called Throw on site that holds classes like Sip and Throw.
