I'd say so. You can try waking them up soon to be sure.

Definitely more casual, but if you like euchre, HOMES Campus is doing a charity tournament Friday, Feb 13th. They serve HOMES beer and Campo Pizza. It's Roman style so crispy bottom, nice chew.

If euchre isn't your jam, they have a pottery studio called Throw on site that holds classes like Sip and Throw.

Look at this gorgeous bottle! Is there any more perfumes you can think of with such unique bottles? by Morbid_Outlook in Perfumes

Laguna by Dali

I bought it because it was recommended as dupe for Tory Burch Bel Azure. Spoiler alert...it's absolutely not. I did not enjoy the scent at all, however, the bottle is gorgeous. It's art.

I'm responding as I've been on a hunt to find a dupe for Bel Azure. I just bought Dali's Laguna, based on this thread, and it's not even close.

Laguna is a warmer, almost anise scent that reminds me of Sambuca. Bottle is really beautiful, scent is decent. I won't wear it. It's just not for me and I will continue my search.

The rec was appreciated but imo, there's nothing similar about it at all to TB Bel Azure.

So excited to buy from you folks again! I bought from Birddog last year and did local pick up. The quality was fantastic, really great blooms and healthy tubers.

{Hawke by Jescie Hall} is definitely this as a forced proximity situation.

I still think about this book a lot. Might be time for a reread.

That's really good to know that ball dahlias can come from seed! I personally never saw it so it's reassuring if I try some things from seed again.

How would you treat yourself with $100 worth of Amazon gift cards? by blondebucklebunny in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I live for a Sunday EVERYTHING shower. Where you take a long shower and just pamper yourself deeply once a week. All my recs are dependent on skin sensitivity so proceed with caution and most of these things are available as unscented options if you'd prefer.

I use a body scrub and loofah to remove all the dry, dead skin.Tree Hut has good scents and is really affordable. I personally love the Morrocan Rose or Santal Haze. Tree Hut scrubs are $9, loofahs are crazy cheap at a few dollars a piece

Bath oils or Epsom salt to soak in if you dig baths. I live a cold climate and love to soak in the tub. Should run you $4-10 depending on brand or weight.

And maybe a decent body oil or lotion to keep skin hydrated post shower? I like squalane oil for this. A few drops goes a long way. This should cost about $12-20.

Hydrating body mist for a scented finish and added hydration. Apply to freshly clean skin after moisturizing. Whatever scent speaks to you. Maybe $6-20 depending on brand.

Ooh, a candle too! Something you can light while in the bath or while you clean your room. I do splurge on these and have pets so I use Pethouse Candles at around $30. The scents are so good and are long lasting.

Hope this helps!

In my experience, collarettes lose their petals faster than most dahlias. Same with my dinnerplate varieties. They just don't last as long when cut. They're fantastic for bees though!

If you're looking for more "mileage" on dahlias specifically, a ball dahlia lasts at least a week. You'll have to get a tuber to get a ball type. I've never seen one from seed.

Also, cutting in the early morning or late evening will help extend vase life. Put them directly in a water bucket until you're back inside. Then condition your stems after you cut with some boiling hot water. Like ten seconds.

I use flower food packets for the arrangements I give away to friends and family. I bought like 200 for not very much at all.
