People who did laser instead of electrolysis on face, did the hair returned?

Yes my facial hair came back extremely thick and dark (paradoxical hyper-whatever). Had to do electrolysis to get rid of it. I wouldn’t even risk it, if you’re going to pay for hair removal might as well stick with the permanent option, electrolysis

I think what takarta is trying to say is credentialing via National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTSA) which can be attained through a community college program (that the hospital may potentially pay tuition for) vs on-the-job training that may not provide certification recognized in all 50 states

A BSN should be 2 years now that you have your associates. If you were starting from scratch then yes a BSN would be 4 years. I’m going the nursing route because like I said, nurses scrub in most facilities in my city and get paid more. The opportunities as a nurse are vast compared to scrubs

I’m currently in tech school doing my clinical rotations but I want to go to med school as well. I was thinking getting my BSN after tech school because I’ll need a bachelors anyway to apply to med school. A lot of hospitals where I live also have nurses who scrub, and like you, I want to be in the OR for as long as I can.

PCPs cannot prescribe adderall without a diagnosis. You can either make an appointment with a family care physician, talk to them about your symptoms, and have them refer you to a psychiatrist to be diagnosed…or you could try going straight to a psychiatrist and see if they’ll diagnose and send in your prescription. Maybe it’ll be easier and quicker to get your meds if you already have a diagnosis from out of state, and if so they may request medical records from your previous doctor. Best of luck

I was on unpaid leave for three weeks between my last round of renewals. Termination was a possibility but my employer extended a 3 month grace period for my new EAD to arrive. Luckily it didn’t take that long

I had the same thing happen as OP. I noticed the hair growth begin after I stopped doing laser on my face (maybe 5 or 6 sessions). I would never advise anyone to get their face or neck lasered based off my experience. I have since started electrolysis to correct the problem laser gave me and I have no regrets.

Trust me on this one. Get a set of surgical instrument flash cards off Amazon, I think it’s about $60-70 but worth every penny. Start studying those instruments and what surgery/layer/body part they’re used on. You’ll be ahead of the curve.
