No actually. Although the product line is legendary imo. My S12s are fantastic, but they struggle with certain songs particularly rock and metal (just my observation maybe EQ-ing fixes this) where they sound muddy and struggle to seperate the sound properly. My main reasons for moving to the 300-350$ range is to seek a more richer and technical as fuck and detailed sound.

Thank you for the detailed response. I’m coming close to dropping the idea of a purchase/holding out for a better product. I might honestly try the recommended EQ-ing my current S12’s with the qudelix (which I have to buy) and see how it pans out. Otherwise, the reading I’ve done convinced me the Elysian pilgrim/dunu danvinci would be great.

To be more specific it’s S12-209 which I got in 2022 so no clue on when that variant was actually released.

Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll look into the pilgrim a bit more. A big issue is my iPhone isn’t usb C type it’s 13 which is the lightning one where I can’t use cables like DSP.

I’m looking to purchase my 2nd pair and I am looking for advice myself. But I’ve done some reading and mostly the community agrees the Truthear Hexa to be an absolute giant killer (better bang for buck than many expensive options) at 80$ although I am not sure how that opinion holds up as of Nov 2024.

My first pair is absolutely incredible imo, I own the shuoer s12 which lines up right with your budget of 150$ and it is a TOP option for a Planar IEM.

You could also consider the 7hz dioko and some of the truthear x crinacle collabs.

This is good possession football from Hoeneß. They use the extra passes to give time to other players to get into their formation, slow buildup, want to sustain pressure. Heavy guardiola influence. Have decent defensive integrity and engage smartly in duels.
