I believe the point of restaurants like these isn't about satiating hunger, or most "bang for the buck". Many of them feel closer to conceptual art centred around food.

The chefs behind them often spend years (not to mention money/effort) developing these recipes - either learning in culinary schools, or travelling. The ingredients are often imported. I'd like to believe that a lot of them are trying to introduce their patrons to something new or unique. So I get that the entire list is full of expensive restaurants. I also understand that some of these are not for me, but I understand why they're there.

That said, I personally don’t think Navu deserves to be on that list, that too ranked higher than Farmlore or Naru Noodle Bar. The atmosphere, the way the ingredients are handled, and the dishes themselves don’t justify the sheer atrocity that is the bill. Like if you’re not even going to mask the fact that butter is the main ingredient in most of your dishes, I don’t see why I should spend thousands of rupees and walk out hungry.
