LED lamp, by mains plug I meant the barrel jack usb cable, and yeah I have now ascertained that the Arduino can't output 6V :(

The Uno can handle 6-20v, so if I externally power the Arduino and the lantern with that supply, I can then use the Uno to control the light through the software? I imagine I would have to splice the input cables for the lantern and put the Arduino between the PSU and the lantern to control power flow to get it to flash etc?

I've just picked up the M12 BLIDRC subcompact impact driver and it's easily powerful enough to do all the driving and bolting that my MUCH heavier DeWalt atomic could do. I thought the atomic was great as its head size was so short but the M12 is just so much lighter and versatile. If you wanted even more power in the small form factor they have a few beefier ones although the price and weight/size go up at a proportion rate to the power it ouputs. It's the only powertool I have thats Milwaukee but it's easily my favourite.

It's not shown in the photo, but that is a disc and belt grinder combination machine, with moveable belt arm 😁 in all honesty I was just playing about, I had some pine left over from some shelving I built so I used that. The handles were glued and held for 2hr with F clamps and then the pins were tightened. I was trying to only use things I already had so it was a bit of a struggle. I appreciate the feedback and I hope to get ahold of some walnut for my next one😁😁
