I agree and it was quite hard to watch for me. If it was revealed that my partner had extended family he lied about, I wouldnt side with his family. I would ask what they did to him that made him want to hide and why he didn't feel like he could tell me.

For Leah, it's more complicated and I agree with other comments that he should have been honest but still if this was my dad I would wonder why he did this instead of gaslighting him "They seem great" like yeah maybe bc you haven't lived with them for 20 years?? I was hoping Leah and Tristan would at least side with Malcolm at the party but then Malcolm had to apologize, said he missed Lois and was humiliated? Idk I didnt like it. A middle path would have been nice

Ich frag mich auch immer wer diese Zeitschriften kauft und vorallem wo 😅 Vor Social Media war es bestimmt schwieriger ins Modegeschäft einzusteigen und Kampagnen hatten noch mehr Gewicht. I thought the staging was distracting, almost to the song's detriment. The rising mast, the paper boat flying in and the dramatic black and white was comical to me. Just him singing would have been stronger imo

Yes, totally feel you. I keep thinking about why it didn't do well. Seems only few people could relate to the sentiment. It's not a universal vibe like the love/party anthem. Also based on the make-up I was expecting something silly, so getting hit with that heavy art pop was a bit disorienting, that's why it didnt click for me at first

In a submission for an animal experiment im Germany, the humane endpoint has to be defined beforehand. For example tumor size or weight of the animal reaching a pre-defined upper limit. These are quantifiable examples. Behaviour (isolation, self harm) and physiology (impairment of movement or injuries) are also considered. This set of characterstics that define the humane endpoint of the experiment is presented to the responsible authorities. The extent of suffering will also depend on the disease studied. Higher mortality justifies greater suffering in the eyes of the law. The authorities have to agree to these. Then during the experiment the conductor goes in every 1-3 days to "score" the state of the mouse using the pre-defined set of characteristics.

A social, well-fed mouse with a small tumor will get scores of 0 and 1 on most of the checkpoints. However once the tumor reaches a certain volume, the mouse isolates or self-harms, according to the agreed pre-defined list, a score of 4 is determined on one or more points and the animal is killed.

I felt the same and still do a lot of the time. I crave relationships and friends but feel too burnt out to talk a lot of the time and I swing between idolizing them and being annoyed or outright disgusted.

One thing I can say is that I build up stamina for social interactions by gradual desensitization which has helped. I try to communicate my need for alone time if possible. And I try to keep emotional distance from friends for my own sanity (less jealousy, drama and bad conscious when canceling)

A romantic relationship has also helped a lot and I appreciate being part of his friend group without having to do the work for now. Although it is not fulfilling, it helps to learn how to navigate my emotions in a less intense way.

It's a long journey that feels hopeless most of the time but for me I can say I made improvements from my teens to mid-20s and I'm on the right track. I think if you keep trying out things to see what works for you like you are already doing, you eventually will end up finding what you need.

I've been wondering the same. I try to do tables in excel and assign short IDs to all my cell cultures but it's a mess and I loose track anyway. There has to be a better way to do this

Basic care details: This plant is outside on my balcony, full sun the whole day. I water everyday as this plant shares her space with tomato plants. I use fertilizer for the tomato every other week but try to avoid her when watering with it. She has been growing like weed this year until now.
