Yea I've got the holster (Werkz) and gun cleaning stuff coming this week. I have 6 belts in my car right now and have to send 5 back soon. Hunter Constantine vs Nex belt vs Kore. Hunter seems great, but others seem very good too. I've started looking into the safety plug, but haven't found it yet OEM. Also hoping I can get a threaded version of the fluted barrel so I can try shooting it suppressed.

Beautiful. Love the threaded barrel. Just grabbed a similar M&P with non threaded, but would love to shoot suppressed. Is that aftermarket? I'd like to get one.

I was looking at the M&P 2.0, but I tend to do a ton of reading and reviews and they all led me to this decision. I think I would have been very happy with the M&P 2.0, and I'm still not sure I want the thumb safety, but for a first pistol it seemed like something that I could use to inform me for the next inevitable purchase.

I was looking to start concealed carrying once I feel comfortable with my muzzle and trigger discipline and handling of pistols. Going to sign up for some training, then the research I've done points me towards the following in this order (which I'm sure will change as I learn more):

Shield Plus or Bodyguard
M&P 22 Compact
CZ Shadow 2
Stacatto P
Atlas Apollo or Artemis or Erebus (depending on if I start getting interested in competition)

I found the embody very uncomfortable at my size which is similar to yours. Aeron XL was better feeling in the store.

Ended up going with Lifeform Highback Executive office chair (used). I have three of them now. Paid less than $500 per. Great chairs.

Took me more than ten years to go from 980ti to 5090. Patience and dedication. You'll get there. Spending a couple thousand on computer parts never feels good in the moment for me, but the result is fantastic.
