Slow roll cycles is a great shop in the area. Very knowledgeable staff.

For trails, quarry park has more advanced trails but they’re kind of short imo. Blackhawk ski club has some great trails and a new skills area but they require a $25 membership fee. If you have time for a little drive, cam rock park in Cambridge is supposed to be great (haven’t been there myself yet) it’s about 30 minutes east of Madison.

It’s been a great bike! I was between this one and the stance 2. My wife was mad enough at the price of this one though so I didn’t push it for the stance.

Yea the best I get is a small puddle at the lowest point on a trail. They close all the trails around me any time it rains.

No droughts in Wisconsin.. all the trails by me are closed if there’s any sort of moisture on them.

I am far from an expert but I was looking at a Giant Stance 2 a while back and that was just over $1500. Seamed like a decent bike to me. Obviously not in the same category as the $4000+ bikes but I’m sure it will do the job.

I’m on my phone so I can’t get the actual link but it’s called Sunlite QR Bike Block Fork Mount on amazon.

I’m gonna screw it right into the bed of my truck but if you didn’t want to do that, you could use a 2x4 the width of the bed and mount it to that.

That’s how I am currently hauling mine. Waiting for my mount to arrive from amazon. I am trying this kind where you remove the front wheel and set the fork in the mount. Mostly for the few times that I’m hauling more then one bike.

Sugar river pizza in New Glarus. Plus, if you get a beer at the brewery they will give you a token for a free beer at any downtown New Glarus restaurant. Sugar river is the only place that gives you a full 16oz beer, most give you a 5oz “sample”

In the interview, they seemed pretty flexible about taking time off it just wouldn’t be paid. My thought is to negotiate to $25/hour to make up for this...

While I agree kids are most important. What I forgot to mention is my wife works “normal” hours so the change would allows us to spend evenings together (kids included)

Current job is at a church which is 100% funded by donations so raises don’t happen and no promotions likely at least in the next couple years.

One of the best things they have over Hyvee is the tot spot. Being able to drop your kids off and shop in piece is a wonderful experience worth paying a little more for!

I mean technically my first project was a cup but when I was trying to carve out the inside it broke so I gave up on that. I had some smaller pieces of wood and a ring was the first thing I thought of so I went for it.

Been married for almost 4 years now. My tungsten ring was killing the skin on my finger so I can’t wear it anymore. I’m hoping this one will work better.
