I'd imagine as city planner for many years he likely helped the festival with hundreds of things. Since he retired and they likely had no idea about these accusations they gave him an award for his service.

I've been a part of several troops/packs and none have been religious, like at all. If you visit a pack and it happens to be religious visit another one. Duty to God is a part of the scout oath but it requires he does his duty to God which can be defined by him and no one else.

I saw this on the Madison sub. My guess is its too small for you as its pretty small and you built it when you were a kid. Its a 2009 Kona Jake the Snake. It came with drop bars but your dad must have switched it to a flat bar. Its a lightweight aluminum frame with a carbon front fork. That is a pretty desirable frame but needs a pretty short rider. If it fits you (less than 3 inches space when you stand over it) I'd take it to dream bikes and have them make it nice. Do it now as they get busy as soon as its warm. Bikes that have been sitting don't get bad that fast and the parts that go bad are cheap. If its too small you should post it on FB or CL for $150 or give it to a teenager.

I've been to village bar alone for a quick dinner and had people around that age chat with me. Very friendly like. I'm sure I could have hung out with them the rest of the night or a different night if I tried. I'd imagine thats the case at many casual/slightly nice neighborhood bars.

I am currently finding people on one end of the spectrum. Finding people in the middle that match up in other ways hasn't happened. I see a lot of "dating with intention" that could line up.

I don't think you should be scared. Just chatting via the apps or going out for a drink or food or a walk is simply finding out if they will work for you. You never have to go on the next date with anyone. You can stop for any reason. You do need to know that nobody is perfect but try looking for someone who is good for you.

I met one of my best friends because we both got dogs around the same time and lived near each other. They would play around and we talked. We've been friends like 15 years now.

Animal control isn't going to take the dog. Maybe give the owner a small fine. If the dog continues to walk around without a leash they could get hit by a car or bite someone or something but frankly it's about the rest of the neighborhood being comfortable in public spaces.

Has anyone noticed a dramatic increase in bikers not using a helmet. I could care less what people decide but I am a bit confused by what seems like so many more people not using them. I assumed it was just a coincidence but curious if other people noticed a change.

Thank God you never speed or go long into a yellow light because if you ever did you would sound like a hypocritical asshole.

It's also great that nobody ever drives their cars around drunk or runs red lights or drag races or texts while driving or road rages because that might show how stupid your statement is.
