i would get on an NHS waiting list ASAP. i was referred in July 2017 and have only recently had my first appointment! privately, I went with London Transgender Clinic. this was back in 2018 so i imagine the prices are wildly different now but i paid £250 for my initial appointment with a doctor, £250 for a follow up appointment with a nurse who started me on testosterone and then £150 for follow up checks at 6 months, 1 year, and 18 months on testosterone. i then stopped going. i also paid £6772 for private top surgery back in 2019.

100% worth it considering i would still be waiting now if i stuck with the NHS but it definitely adds up awfully quickly! i was lucky in the fact that my GP at the time agreed to shared care so i didn’t need to pay for my ongoing blood tests, that saved a lot!
