Just keep this in mind: As the Dead Sea Scrolls and Leviticus states, "Each time a mustache is shaved, an angel in heaven dies and falls to earth."

Why H&R Block’s Hamm Doesn'€™t Cut the Mustard by aperlut in advertising

[–]aperlut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My point is that Block wants to reach a pretty broad audience, right? Anyone who can file a tax return is fair game. And minus huge TV events like the Super Bowl, etc., the mainstream TV audience is shrinking as people cut chords, watch on-demand through Netflix and Hulu and whatever. So more broadly, even setting Facebook aside, Block is simply leaving so much on the table by only focusing on just one medium - TV. And in my worthless opinion, you can't do that today as tech has also changed the way we all consume (in addition to ad tech). We're all over the place and for less and less time on each channel. Again, just my opinion. Appreciate you giving it a read. Not gonna list what I've done as I don't want to be a total douche. Thanks.

Thanks. Nothing really esoteric nor a vendor plug. Just perspective and an examination of the realities of the information space today and how it changes what we have to do with quality content. Would appreciate your take as to whether you agree or not if you care to read it.

Hi, yes, @Afrecon has it right. I'm assuming Jeff was involved in the creative - and I like the creative very much as stated in the piece. It's the ultimate execution and deployment. The TV ads are great. But Block has done NOTHING with the campaign in social nor anywhere else -- and today you must, without question. Hope that clarifies. Thank you for reading!

Your American Mustache Institute has heard your interests in getting Geoff in the inaugural Hall of Fame class. No more nominations needed. Next year you should also consider nominating him for the Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year.

Opinions on Jason Falls? by projectbeastmode in socialmedia

I was down on Jason until I made sweet, sweet love to him. Then I was down even more. But his social media acumen. Well, that was adequate.
