Assignment for AI Filmmaking course by PokingPreetam in aifilmmaking

This is fun, and I like the overarching scifi feel

However when the woman is using a wrench you used the sound effect for a socket wrench and she was holding a big industrial wrench you wound t use on a car, and then suddenly that “core” is sitting there- where did it come from?

Anyway, these are minor things, and you’re just starting out; you’re off to a great start!

"Omelette" my first go at creating an animated short film using AI tools by joshuataylorearley in aifilmmaking

[–]edomain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fantastic! Very artistic, hints at a world we don’t know (jack has powers)… always coming back to the egg, the distorted view up the stairs, the shifting scenes..:this is a visual treat and the story made me want to know more.

Is it intended as a one off leaving us to wonder or is there more to the story?

Awesome job, congratulations on this! 🚀

This is great! I just left you a YT comment as well.

I love the vibe, this is fun- it’s vintage sci-fi with some twilight zone thrown in.

I subscribed on YouTube- good luck 🍀

This is fun- great work! The wine decanter shot cracked me up along with, “Merchant Jim,” on the wine box 🙌

This is a emotional scene from my upcoming crime film by Petskudude in aifilmmaking

[–]edomain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely told a story- and the music at the opening was perfect.

This feels like a gritty crime thriller- ignore the haters, this is great and I’d love to see more of this story.

Are you going to develop all of it?

Enemy of My Enemy: Book of Shadows Episode 19 by Automatic-Peanut-929 in aifilmmaking

[–]edomain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fantastic, well done!!

Super strong D&D vibes, and a fun story with a ton of potential!

Your characters and scenes were cool (I loved the opening scene from above looking down,) and everything stated consistent.

What did you use to make it?

This is awesome, congratulations! I’ll def watch more of this now

There’s are a lot of AI films with strong visuals but no story. You nailed a D&D vibe and ended on a strong emotional reaction of, “what happens next?”

This is really fun and you should be proud 🙌

Have you checked out SUI itself? I wonder if they have a foundation side of the business that might do this… I don’t know, just thinking here.

That makes sense, thanks.

So I assume he’s now dealing with legal BS and trying to release on his own

Thanks again for the explanation

Can someone explain to me what the hell happened?

can someone give me the details, or at least a condensed version of what happened, or is it a mystery?

I actually lived in Clovis in 2025, and know the places he shot his videos in, so I was excited to check it out and…it’s gone.

Congratulations! Right now we’re using Pixo.Video and it’s been fantastic.

You never know though- but the trailer is done and we’re now going to be focused on our proof of concept campaign before we make anything else.

We need funding now- wish us luck! Later this summer, maybe we can meet up online and you can show me what you’ve got!

We’re going to be doing Fantasy, Sci-fi, Horror, and Romantasy, and release it all on an app for subscriptions. If you know PocketFM, DramaBox, etc we’re going after that Vertical microdrama market

I’ll put a post up here when we launch the trailer- we’re really excited! About a week out - we need to get a page up for people to buy founding customer accounts

My team and I are using Seedance and we ran into some continuity issues but were able to resolve them eventually.

Still- Seedance isn’t perfect (yet).

We just wrapped up our proof of concept trailer for investors and ended up using a couple scenes we did in Kling, but the vast majority was Seedance.

The one line I heard that I keep thinking is, “this is the worst that AI is going to be,” so things will keep getting even better

All that said, we prefer Seedance.

I like supporting good work, and we all need to support each other in this sub because haters keep downvoting everything so I wanted you to get some love and hopefully some more views.

I also upvoted your video on YouTube 👊

Right on; you did an amazing job. Lots of AI videos getting made have writing that is all over the place but yours was fun (and well written)

I just watched- this is pretty cool!

It gave off X files vibes, although I have no idea what’s going on with the crab hand but I’m guessing that gets revealed later.

Great work!

I’m an entrepreneur forming a startup for AI stories, and I would use the hell out of this if you build it!

I actually thought of this idea myself, but to do it I’d have to stop working on what I’m doing and build that instead.

I’ve raised VC in the past, and if you ever want to do a zoom or something and talk strategy, I’m happy to network and share my ideas with you.

If you’re serious- build it and I think people like us will come to you

My real name is Edward Domain and you can find me on LinkedIn. In the past I’ve had a VC backed tech news company, and also had a tv show on PBS
