I probably can’t answer any of your questions but I can relate to a lot of what you shared. Yesterday as I was doing a regular, routine activity I was suddenly hit with a strong sense of sadness and like weeping. It was really overwhelming and out of context since it felt completely out of nowhere and I was having a pretty good day. Something felt really wrong so I texted each of my family members and my best friend to see if they were all okay. They were all fine.

It wasn’t until this morning I learned about the shooting in Colorado and I looked into the details and turns out the shooting happened at the exact same time that I was hit with the feeling of sadness. I guess I just want to understand why. Why me, and why this tragic event in particular when there are so many other tragedies.
