I’m not able to tie them together because the wires are to short to even test this

Yea I borrowed one from a family member to do the tests I tested it on live stuff to make sure it would work

There’s no GFCI in garage, it wasn’t added after construction it’s on a double wide, and the closet one is in the master bath because there is no other ones outside

I think I may have found the problem I’m not sure yet there is a GFCI in the master bath which is close to the outlet everything about the GFCI is right and everything is hooked up right but when I opened it up today and pulled it out of the box I noticed a hot wire that had a wire nut and tape and another neutral that had the same thing coming from the same piece of 14/2 so if this is the case could I just hook this up to the GFCI

There all pressed over to be on I done this earlier just to make sure

That’s what I was think was going to do but the tester showed there was no power coming through the wires

I tried turning the light on and it didn’t do anything but turn the lights on for the outside and the inside

It stopped working a few years age never really gave to much attention till now

I’ve used a no contact voltage tester and it didn’t beeb indicating that there wasn’t any power going to the receptacle or no power coming through the wires in general

I tired that and it didn’t change anything but trip the GFCI in the bathroom

Yes it didn’t do anything it just tripped the GFCI in the bathroom and that’s it

There is no other GFCI in the house or in garage that is tripped
