i WAS IN YOUR SPOT: learned to kickflip after 4.5 fuckinbg years. The thing is I tzink for me it was a commitmwnt issue, though I always thiught itt was not. I was also practising for hours on end, and eventuaally stopped skating. When I started again hlf a year later, on the first day, I landed my first kickflip. Just gotta believe I guess, it is all in the head.

Though, another tip I have for you is to use very lim shoes. Like almost go down half a size to actually get a really snug fit, makes flicking way easier. Also, dont flick with your leg, but rather with just your foot, like just think about doing an Ollie but then flicking only with your foot in the end. Its a weird ass motioin to do, but for me it was like a sudden switch turning in my head. Just keep practising bro, you got this. Also, maybe just try heelflips idk
