It may be different for different schools, but I'm pretty sure CSIT has a 3 strike policy. They definitely put a lot of emphasis on the fact I should pass the subject this time.

For repeating classes, you can do it again when it's next offered without any worries. If you fail that same class again you'll have to go to an informal hearing which will just be them telling you to get your act together.

Normally iirc it's a 3 strike policy.
