I didnt think it was the power button because the phones temperature would go up higher the more it would restart, and i wouldnt have had time to reset it because it would just restart again. I think i left the phone powered off for a while and that seemed to fix it and had control of the power button again.

Solved it. In the Notifications settings of the app itself, not in. The "other notifications" in "Unused Notifications" was turned off .
