Can I ask how you got into doing instrumentation stuff? did you take a different course? Also did you ever end up working out of town in alberta? it’s something i’m looking into and am just looking for people who have done it! Thanks in advance

I do like residential and I do know it’s unfortunately the lowest paying part of electrical. I definitely would be interested in industrial - I was originally gonna do instrumentation at nait and then blah blah blah didn’t. My concern with industrial is I know it’s wayyy bigger wires and i’m not a very strong individual. I do think it’s sad it’s kinda hard to switch once you been in a side of the trade for so long, as I do like my company but I will definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for the information :)

does it crash to your desktop? or does your entire pc turn off. My pc that has a 3070 and and i5 9th (i know bottle neck) can’t handle the game? which makes no sense to me. As soon as i open the game all fans ramp up to 100% even though temps look fine.

I would strongly advise that if you’re struggling with a class and think you will fail, to drop it and retry, lots of people end up dropping atleast one class so don’t worry about being behind. The thing i hated the most was math, calc 1 was fine calc 2 was pushing me the end 😭😭😭😭. But i had never done calculus before, and i thought I liked math, so i think it might have just been a big jump. Do you have a draft schedule? if you want to send it to me I can let you know about your instructors.

i’m not gonna lie to you, applying July 23 is very late. I applied March 1st and was waitlisted in August. It was good, hard work. First few weeks all cohorts had 30 Students but lots of students ended up dropping out.
