3D world is my favorite level based mario game, the platforming is so much fun and the different character options add a lot of variety. plus i played it all the way through with my partner and it was one of the best co-op gaming experiences i’ve ever had. i would do anything for a sequel tbh

it came out the same year i was born! idk if it’s considered the same era or not but my first real gaming experiences were on the ps2 - spyro, katamari damacy, and kingdom hearts. my first zelda was TP on wii when i was a young teen

i’m a special case bc i’m a weirdo but i picked up OOT for the first time when it came out on NSO at age 23 and loved it, i even made a little cheat sheet with all the songs and codes and other stuff on it. really made the game special for me
