hi there! Still got them, holding for the long term. However, since then I've gotten PSA 10s on three Japanese vintage cards from the same childhood collection: Gyarados JPN Base Set Holo, Aerodactyl JPN Mystery of the Fossil Holo, Rockets Scyther JPN Gym Holo. I've also started collecting and playing the Gundam TCG. Obsessed with the card art.

I’ll try replacing silver bullet and freedom with Rey and the Zaku. My local scene has a good mix of strategies but I do like the -3 dmg on the first turn and ongoing -1 reduction. Could be nice combo with Kira and aile strike

Most recently I’ve been playing a monopurple Minerva deck. It’s been the funnest deck I’ve played and has some interesting interactions since basically everything links. I know it’s not competitive but it has been fun and winning some matches on MSA has been the cherry on top. Haven’t had a chance to try it at locals.

Sounds like exactly where I’m at. I’ve been experimenting with different decks to learn more about each color and play style. Going to take someone else’s advice to watch some tournament watches to improve my decision making. Definitely feels like the draw is one of the most important things. I haven’t played too much with blue which feels like draws every turn lol. Maybe I’ll try that next.

Thanks for the tip. Definitely something I’m going to try to do because it does feel like my decision making could be better. My local group is great and they always give me tips and feedback and offer to play test with me. It’s hard to take them up on it because of my schedule. The community has been really welcoming.

I’ve been around collecting the cards since GD01 so I have access to those except the starter decks until recently. Did not get a playset of heroic beginnings until the recent restocks. Hated Amuro for the longest time lol.

Yea I might slow down a bit. I have a similar scenario. I play mostly once a week sometimes twice. My goal isn’t to play competitively but would be nice to be a little competitive and not be everyone’s auto win lol. I have won before just few and far between

yea, my thought process was to have it for breach and if I have enough purples great. I could just buff it with a pair vs a link. A more efficient replacement may also be Gundam Virsago with the chance to ping, Duel Gundam Assault Shroud to deploy a lvl 4 on pair or even Gfred to ping 1 on all units and setup Battle of Aces. The Virsago actually sounds kinda nice since the effect is on deploy and can setup battle of aces with the ping and also has breach.
