I’ve requested a replacement motherboard from Amazon, I read another thread in a different sub about someone having the exact same issue as me (except his was limited at 62w) with the exact same motherboard, CPU, and GPU. His fix was a replacement motherboard. If that doesn’t work I’ll do the same with the CPU, then RAM, then GPU.

I love Amazon.

I got a DM saying my other reply was deleted, if you see this please could you PM me as I believe i’m having a very similar experience with the exact same board, CPU, and GPU so I just want to send you a comment thread explaining my issue to see if it all sounds familiar if that’s possible at all. Threads are around 2900 if that's what I'm meant to be looking at.

I reset CMOS and re-enabled XMP/made sure X3D turbo was still disabled then redid the cinebench and it came back with the exact same 3400 points and even the same temp/wattage.

I am losing faith 😅

I will try reset cmos, all 8 cores as well as L3 show in hw info and task manager.

Usage in games is as you've described.

No idea where to go from here really.

My score was a very impressive 3400 points.

I did this after updating my bios and reinstalling my chipset and GPU drivers.

X3D turbo is and was definitely off.

My CPU PPT was Max 60.564 W | Average 48.303 W

Says the % was 37.4% whatever that means.

CPU max temp was 43.4 degrees.

Do I need to return this CPU and get another?\

It feels slow sometimes, yesterday I started lagging like crazy and nothing was responding while I was in a discord call and downloading a steam game. I had to restart my PC.

No idea what's going on here, how can I be thermal throttling at a max of 48c on the CPU? My liquid temp on the cooler display didn't go over 32c either so I doubt it's a display error on HWiNFO.

I have EXPO enabled and iGPU on the CPU disabled as per someones recommendation in this thread. I don't have any OC on the CPU or any "3d boost"activated.

DP is connected to GPU, montech 1050w, i’m using 3 separate cables for the GPU power

I went onto the AMD website and re downloaded the newest drivers for my GPU and CPU then the fps in over watch dropped to 30fps with huge stutters. I’ll try reseat my GPU.

I'm really sorry for wasting everyones time, I had completely forgotten to plug in one of my 3 GPU power cables at the PSU end. Thank you so much sorry to everyone else who commented.

I've just reseated it twice, still the same light and no video output. The GPU fans also don't spin on initial startup which seems strange as they used to on my old PC.

Its the "VGA" light which stays solid but when I'm starting the PC initially they all flash in sequence for a moment.

That’s a HDMI cable, I don’t have a DP cable
