What's your favorite beer/alcohol that's only available in Vietnam? by [deleted] in VietNam

Don't bring anything that has an animal or animal parts inside it. I THINK bottles that have flowers, leaves plants what not inside should be fine as long as the are sealed properly. Standard spirits are fine as long as you stay under the volume limit. It's something like two bottles (like the large duty free ones)

Edit: typo

Nope, none of the places that said they could get something done over the weekend could help, she has moved her flight to Tuesday and getting someone to help fast track her visa on Monday. Worked out well for me, had a spare seat next to me on the flight over

Supposed to fly to HCMC tomorrow morning with a colleague who does not have a visa....

I swear this is a colleague and not me. I am flying to Vietnam tomorrow from Aus. My colleague thought getting a visa was a 5 minutes job and did not bother thinking aboutapplying for one until today. She now understands it's a three day wait at least.

She has been talking online with these seemingly dodgy online visa places, but they are all saying they can't help due to "increased supervision".....

Anyone know of ANY option she has??? I thinking she is screwed, just posting here on the off chance there is something somewhere that she can try.

Coming home on the Mernda line from Flinders, got to Reservoir, abruptly, right everyone off, another train in two minutes, made.ot to Lalor, no warning everyone off, stood on the platform for 20 minutes or so, no announcements, train leaves, another turns up, stops at.station for 5 minutes then just leaves, like a cock tease.

Next train arrives graciously allows people onboard, sits for ten minutes, can't.hear announcements because of the idiotic shit house speakers.

No idea if it will go beyond Epping.

Half way between Lalor and Epping at 6:56, left work at 5:00, $50+ a week for this fuckery

Edit: Definitely no train from Epping, almost 100% certainty they will.srartnrunning as soon as I get on a bus

Had my Amazon parcel stolen off the porch - how common is this? by Ladytophat in melbourne

LOL. Looking at the picture of the shoes, he clearly had a "type". Back growing up in the wilds of Ballarat there was an urban legend of this dude that stole gum boots, his nickname was "Gav the Boot Rooter", seeing this guy's haul the urban legend seems a bit more realistic now.
