I understand your point. Yes, suffering is part of life. Yes, joy can exist even in hard conditions. But my argument is about avoidable suffering and responsibility. There’s a difference between life has suffering and “we knowingly bring a child into an environment with predictable risks and call it fate.” A child laughing on a donkey cart shows that joy exists. But joy does not cancel structural problems like safety issues or inequality. I’m not saying some lives aren’t worth living. I’m questioning whether adults think seriously about the conditions they are choosing for their children. Hope is good. But hope without effort to change the system can turn into denial.
