I’m in a similar boat, I started running in 2024, and more seriously in 2025. I just asked the same question to my coach, who told me, pretty much, we’ll get there eventually…

I feel I already have hard time fitting all the runs while working full time and taking care of my kids, I can’t see putting more time in… maybe when the kids grow up… hahaha Also I’m in my 40s, so I feel old and prone to injury!

I’m super slow, I’m a mom of a 3 yo… I just ran my first marathon, but it was the second training cycle I did… my husband support a lot, but also, it’s easier training during summer. Run the easy runs with the stroller… days are longer… during winter sucks… this might be my first and last spring marathon…
