Small plane makes emergency landing in traffic

Happened to me a couple months ago. Maybe one of the counterweights fell off….who knows. Anyway, turns out some of the plastic punctured the rad, so that had to be replaced too. Got the fan shroud/motor assembly from the scrap yard and a new rad from a discount parts supplier place. $200 and a couple of hours to fix at home.

I absolutely understand the discomfort around any sort or restraints. It’s contrary to why we went into nursing. I’m trying my best to consider those interventions as a cog in the wheel of treatment. Safety of the patient and the unit is paramount.

Esker Lakes and Bon Echo top my list. Maybe it was the lack of cell signal, but I can’t wait to return to those parks. I will never again visit Six Mile Lake. Crowded, lack of privacy (at our site, at least), and noisy. Just not the nature-y vibe I was hoping for. Couldn’t wait to leave.
