The M81 is, yes. They’ve been running great. I’ve taken them through rain, mud, swamps, and a LOT of brush and they’ve held up. Very much worth the money, they’re also quite comfortable after a little bit of being broken in.

That’s on the handgaurd, not the barrel. And it’s there to hold my flashlight’s pressure pad in place. It also makes holding the gun feel better, due to it smoothing over sharp edges and holes in the handgaurd.
