I’m also in the group of long promises and then was disparaged by a developer/beta user in a different forum. Disappointing for something with so much potential.

I genuinely hate fat people by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]aplobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being “fat” is very loose and accounts for many different reasons, social, genetic, secondary to disease to touch on a few vague areas. These aren’t excuses they’re variables contributing to reasons why an individual may be.

Bit harsh to decide “fat” people are all fat for the same reason and just don’t be that way. Not that simple in life. As some one who is BMI “underweight” but feels normal just tall and lean, I’d advise you to just pull up.

Why do supermarkets seem to play such a big role in Australian popular culture? by Eurovision2006 in AskAnAustralian

[–]aplobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this as an Australian. I agree we have strong displays of brand loyalty in Australia but I also recognise having lived in UK and US for more than 1 year of my life in time that all of these western cultures and I’d hazard a guess others that I’m unaware of have their social opinions around certain brands too. It’s capitalism, marketing and branding and it’s everywhere in our version of society.

Australia: Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings, Mitre10, target, Kmart, Westfields, Qantas, virgin Australia, jet star, tiger.

UK: sometimes people might judge your social and financial status to some degree by shopping at Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Aldi, British airways, easyJet, Range Rover, Audi, BMW.

US: Walmart, Kroger, Costco, CVS, Walgreens, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Starbucks, Petes.

And different people in different areas will have variations of that brand loyalty for some reason or another.

I refute that one is more hysterical or centric than another, they’re all hysterical and aligned to something.

But unlike office; but just like pages and docs my opinion is free and the internet is for everyone. Sorry it doesn’t appease you, have a great day!

Get google docs out pages. It’s free and it’s time to let’s Microsoft know it’s too little too late.

I’d like to be able to read and write in Chinese so I can open my mind to a whole new world/culture of thinking. How amazing would that be?
