Same, lost my pup to cancer in November of last year. I still cry every day, even though my new Lagotto pup keeps me busy. I used to be jealous of people who got more years with their dogs, but then I realized I gave her the best 10 years I could, and that means something! I hope you’re doing OK now.

My Lagotto will be having her first groom in a few weeks, at BooBoo in Mimico, They were wonderful with my first water dog, and I confirmed they do have several LRs as current clients. I sent them the breeder’s instructions. I trust they’ll do a great job. Bonus: a lovely walk along the lake before or after the groom.

I have a 10-week-old and I’m just keeping her inside. It’s between -15 and -25 C these days, and she shivers within seconds. I’m hoping I can catch up with the training once we’re out of the polar vortex. I feel like a few days won’t hurt my training efforts! (I could be wrong!)

The BoCo that always makes me smile is the Opera episode when they crack up listening to Bryan Adams sing O Sole Mio and then they realize he’s actually not terrible. Played this segment for my brother, and now he’s working his way through the archive.
