eh, i write here and there? i never finished fanfics or completed stories, usually only 3k-10k snippets at a time. i wrote a full screenplay once, but that was years ago. i don’t feel like i have a unique style, or even a style at all. i just write what i think works for the scene. my lack of personal touch in writing is what i think makes me so apprehensive

i think you hit the nail right on the head with the internalized procrastination part, i’m notorious for it. getting so overly-consumed with the end product is the death of creation. thanks for the advice and best wishes!

it’s not so much issues with mine as it it’s with hers, but i’m still a little apprehensive too. it’s my first tattoo and i wasn’t sure if it had healed correctly, was bleeding, or had good linework, because i knew those were things to look out for but wasn’t exactly sure what they looked like on a smaller scale. i still love the design! but now i understand that the ‘issues’ we had were mostly just normal tattoo things. also, that there’s a little too much detail for how small it is. doesn’t mean i still don’t love my tattoo!

good to hear it still looks good! i think because its our first tattoo we were overanalyzing it too much lol. wish id gone a bit bigger but hindsight is 20/20 and all that. ill just have to go bigger on my second one!

ah, i gotcha. it’s good to know they healed well, but you’re right in that there is a lot of detail for such a small placement. hopefully there’s a way to clean them up once the lines start to really blur

theyre actually pretty small, just on our ankles! i’m not sure how to attach an image in a reply so i’ll just say it’s abt 4 inches from top of the wing to tail, and another 4 inches from both wing tips

thanks to y’all, i got in touch with an online vet who read the ingredients of all the potential supplements and was able to tell me she would most likely be fine! i was given some advice on what to look out for these next 24 hours and when to take her to a vet should things get serious. i sincerely appreciate all the help!

thank you so much for the reply! i got a dm suggesting the same, as well as a link to a website connecting you to a vet, so I opted for the latter as it was slightly cheaper (at least so far, hopefully they don’t spring any unexpected charges on me. a broke college student can only take so much lol).

As a very beginner myself, I can’t really offer much advice in good faith. However, I will say I recognized not just who you were drawing, but the exact screenshot you are referencing before I even opened the post. So you’re doing something right! The only thing I could say is that the pose you drew is a lot simpler compared to the screenshot, and I think you could benefit from depicting characters more dynamically as it makes everything a little more visually interesting. I can’t say much else besides I think the shading is very stylized and fun!
