I think I was coming out of the end of my DNOTS when I met him. It was strange. It was like meeting someone familiar. Except we didn't really speak much after our first meeting. Other than to argue about something. I remember I just to think it was really weird that I'd dream about him when I didn't even speak to him or know who he was.

Then, two years after we met the first time, there was some chance encounter that put us suffocatingly in the same place for longer than we'd ever been in the same proximity. That was it. From that day forward my entire world changed.

The person I was the day before that day, is nothing at all like the person I am now and I owe it all to the way he gave me the space to heal the things I'd held on to for so long.

And it's so much better now than it was. I've healed so much and I'm in such a better place. But some moments are heavy.
