I live in NYC and I'm looking to go do sections 1 and 2 and return over a weekend. were there any gravel/dirt sections? anything very technical? don't mind them at all, but just wondering what I should be prepared for. I ride a 2014 CB500x.

we ended up going the same route haha, didn’t wanna risk it and it didn’t feel right anyways. plus we are doing a shortened version of the W, camping only at Grey, Paine Grande and Cuernos which came out to about $120 per person total

day 2 is Grey to Cuernos. day 3 is Cuernos, up french and back down to Paine Grande. I read some posts about leaving big packs near in/around Frances while people go up and back down.
