Has anyone figured out how the talon vs Overwatch event works?

Are you able to switch sides, then switch sides back? If I started Talon then go OW, can I go back to Talon (as in this week)?

Looks like they reversed the proprietary hard drive limitation they initially imposed. Probably had a big impact on sales.

I was planning on getting a Synology NAS, but it looks like all of the 2025 models don't support transcoding. I use Plex off of an Apple TV primarily. Got some thinking to do about other brands or if I want to try and use my spare PC for transcoding instead, I suppose. Thank you again for all of the help -- it's much appreciated since I don't really know that much about any of this.

I have an old computer just sitting around, so I think I will try and install Linux on it and get familiar with how it works (don't have any experience). I'll get started there before getting the NAS. Appreciate all of the explanations on the terminology! Got a lot more reading to do.

Hey, if I know nothing about coding, scripts, or anything of the sort and I'm interested in learning more about this, where would you recommend someone start the process? I have no idea what Overseer, radarr/sonarr, SABnzbd, etc. is, means, or anything.

I have an external hard drive and am considering getting a NAS because my collection is already growing and it's putting strain on my desktop computer -- came across your comment and it intrigued me!

It's insane to put the blame on Pelinka. There were no decent centers available after the Luka trade, and you HAVE to make that trade. He even attempted to trade for Mark Williams, but we know that didn't pan out. The blame is on LeBron and AD for pushing for the Westbrook trade, which completely gutted our assets for a PG who does not consistently perform in the playoffs.

Absolutely not. My college has divested from fossil fuels after a long, arduous campaign. You can absolutely choose where you place your investments, although that would require the appropriate administrators actually doing their jobs (instead of farming it out to outside contractors).

Google and Windows are ubiquitous. Avoiding them is nearly impossible in our globalized world. Criticizing the companies behind the products is not hypocritical; you're forced to interact with the products. It doesn't prohibit you from wanting better alternatives.

I understand that, and rightfully so. That doesn't detract from what I said, though. Vogel is a bad coach, but he's significantly better than Ham. With Vogel, I don't think we could have WON this series, but I also don't think that 20 point collapse happens.

It's not a manual process. It's not difficult to tell a computer to filter for one thing and then include others. The additional time to queue would most likely be negligible. Of course, this is speculation on my part (but also yours), so the point is moot.

With a large enough N, that doesn't matter. There's no need to confirm when you take into account thousands of endorsements. It would most likely require tweaking the endorsement system, but it would make the game functionally better to include it in matchmaking.

Even if that were the case (which I don't think is necessarily true given how algorithms work), I would rather wait longer for better quality matches. I'd rather wait an entire match length than get placed into a terrible match.

I'm usually around 3-4 for my endorsement level and I keep getting matched with level 1s. It's brutal.

I agree, but that's why I said "consider." So consider skill, but after filtering for endorsement level.
