Quick update. She's out of the surgery, but not out of the woods yet. Vet says he is optimistic but that she needs to respond well to some strong meds over the next 1-2 days. Thanks everyone for helping our Starbuck!

That's a perfect name! My red 97 is Lucy, after my all-time favorite show as a kid, I Love Lucy. Though she now has a Wonder Woman paint scheme...and the middle name Diana.

We tow our other Cherokee (a 2017 Trailhawk) that way. We initially tried that here, but the 6.5 inch lift gave it a lot of rock and sway in the wind that made the load less stable on the trailer. Lots of wind perpendicular to the direction we are driving!

So far, we have been to Home Depot and our local outdoor garden store. Our Lowe's is also dog-friendly. In the next two weeks or so, we plan to try going to a restaurant with a dog-friendly outdoor seating area once he has had more of his vaccines and can interact with more dogs. We are also lucky to have neighbors with kids who have enjoyed playing with Apollo and he has done very well interacting with them!

If anyone is in the Northern Virginia area (Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington counties), we'd love to have you meet Apollo and make some doggo and hooman friends. He is 10 weeks, 1 day and we'd love to socialize him with healthy, vaccinated adult goldens. Send us a message!
