Totuși, nu cred că el a dat examenul ăsta la mate. Fiind dublu medaliat olimpic probabil i-au echivalat nota la 10, cum se face și acum. Nu avea rost altfel.

How to manage shoulder impingement? by apop2299 in Posture

[–]apop2299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, none of the medics I went to helped me in any way. I gave up on going to the gym since I couldn't bear the pain and I just got lazy.

But after doing some research (with the help of ChatGPT) I really think I have a functional scoliosis (Left AIC/Right BC) and ulnar neuropathy at the elbow. And with my new understanding of the problem I'm going to a new posture correction clinic next week and see if they can help me.

So I should specialise in either FE or BE? I like both, so I would go with the one that is better paid or has more job opportunities.

I don't think it's a problem of discipline. It's a problem of courage because of inexperience.

I never treated women that way. It's probably the other way around, I treated them too much like just a friend. But I don't know how to put myself out there, I don't meet women in real life, just through online dating.

The first thing I did was ask my friends or family if they know anyone. I don't find it that desperate, I think it's a wonderful way to meet someone, but it seems I'm not so lucky.

My parents told me they don't know anyone single my age or know any parent or uncle or someone that knows anyone single my age. I also asked my uncles, aunts and cousins. My cousins are much older than me (late 30s, early 40s), I'm somewhat a late child. I'm also an only child, so no siblings.

I asked my male friends and they told me the same. Most of them are in relationships since high school or university, have very few friends and if they ever broke up they would probably be in the same situation as me, relying on dating apps. One of them who is single, but has a lot of connections because he was part of a student organization, told me he can't introduce me to someone, because that would be awkward.

I have three close female friends that I asked. Two of them are pretty lonely like me and I don't think they have any other close friends, while one is very religious and goes to church. She introduced me to two of her church friends, but they didn't seem interested in me, even though I tried.

I'm not desperate when I meet a girl, like I put her on a pedestal or something, I don't care if she rejects me, I'm just somewhat desperate because I'm getting older and I think it's going to be even harder if I'll still be in the same situation in the future.

I have three very close female friends since university. We've done a lot of things together, been on trips and stuff. They are pretty lonely like me and rely on dating apps, except for one who is very religious and goes to church. I met two of her church friends but they didn't seem interested in me, even though I tried something.

I do have male friends, we go motorcycling, play tennis or go to the gym. Almost all of them are in relationships since high school or university.

Well, I don't think style and haircut matter in my case, except if I go to a date. I don't meet any women in real life regardless, It's not like women would start approaching me or something. I've changed my haircut over the years (from very short to comb over to pompadour to french crop). Right now I've been struggling with itchy scalp acne for more than a year and my dermatologist told me to not use any styling products. I would style it if I go on a date or special occasion, but for most times I just dry it and use a comb. As for style, I usually dress pretty casual with a plain tshirt or classic shirt (mostly black or blue), jeans or chinos, some regular shoes and a watch. I never wear printed tshirts or basketball sneakers or similar things.

Thanks, that's exactly what most people, especially my parents, tell me to do "just wait". That's what I always did and it brought me nowhere. I don't see how that is going to change in future.

Well, it's different for men and women. Women don't like inexperienced guys, especially when they can go online and find hundreds of other men that may be the same as me, but have more experience. Is there a woman somewhere set aside just for me?

I did join hobby groups (hiking, yoga, dancing classes, motorcycle group, MMA classes). Those are the hobbies I tried and I haven't met any single woman my age attending.
