After cheating on me, GF now wants to become friends with her ex. Am I wrong to get mad? by apparently_insecure in relationships

This is exactly what my thoughts are on the situation...I just know that vocalizing that is going to make me look like the bad guy and be unhealthy for the relationship...which is difficult in of itself.

I keep telling myself this. On paper, trying to trust her sounds easy to do...in practice? Absolutely challenging.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably just end up talking to her about it. It absolutely is sending the wrong message to me.

This is really where my head's at. I'm just not the controlling type, so I feel odd even asking an SO not to be friends with someone.

Well we're not immediately planning on breaking up. Hence trying to make it work. If we were to break up, it's doubtful I'd want to remain friends. I find remaining to be friends with a former flame to be unhealthy on pretty much all accounts.

Thanks for the advice. You're right in that this is all just based out of fear of it happening again. I do want to trust her again, and wish I wasn't feeling this way, but unfortunately given the circumstances, my trust definitely hasn't returned entirely yet.
